The song is all about a husband arriving home unexpectedly early and discovering a row of evidence suggesting an affair his wife has with the neighboring farmer, who left hay practically everywhere, even on the driveway! In fact all suspicions are confirmed when entering the master bedroom. The desperate solution is found in from of the red harpoon the husband has brought home as souvenir from his latest fishing vacation. All that follows is, as we said, very Tarantino, and leaving much of the events to the phantasy of the listener.
